VVDI Key Tool Max is a professional smart device with multi-function, Bluetooth, and WIFI communication interface are integrated inside, which is convenient for connecting Xhorse Key Cutting Machine, MINI OBD TOOL, and other products to do specific operations. This device adopts an HD LCD screen with a clear interface, easy to use, and flexible.

How to Use VVDI Key Tool Max?

Step 1: Read the vehicle data (VIN & immobilizer) via OBD utilizing the soon-to-be released Mini OBD Tool.
Step 2: View the remote and transponder chip information for the vehicle you’re plugged into and instantly generate your chip and key.
Step 3: View the proper keyway for cutting on the Dolphin and cut your blade (once you’ve Lishi’d to determine your cuts).
Step 4: Take your completed key back to the vehicle for immobilizer programming

There are 3 ways for Key Tool Max connect to MINI OBD TOOL:
1--USBTYPE-C cable
2--WIFI
3--Bluetooth
1) Click on the [Select] on the HOME page,available device will be shown on the screen,choose device to connect according to Serial Number
2) Software will detect current device with software interface connection status,WLAN connection status and WIFI connection status.

VVDI MINI OBD Tool 

which can be used with VVDI Key Tool Max to perform remote function like Generate transponder, Transponder Clone, Generate Remote, Remote Clone, OBD matching transponder/remote/smart card.


OBD2 Diagnostic, Immo Programming, Maintenance Light Reset,Throttlebody Learning, KM Calibration and more functions are under development. 

The port which is used to connect the programmer is reserved. After the expansion, the chip can be written start data, and the operation of the IC reading data is equivalent to the function of the Original Tango.
KEY TOOL MAX can also be connected with Xhorse Dolphin XP-005 key machine via Bluetooth, to be used like operating screen of Dolphin XP-005.

Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max allows user to set up a password for better protecting your device.  Here is the detail steps:

Hold the home button (at the right corner of key tool max) for several seconds until you back to the homepage.





Tap Settings > Security > Screen Lock -> PIN as security model > Set a private pin code >  Tick off “Show all notification content”  -> Done











Returen to Xhorse application, lock Key Tool Max, as you can see when we try to unlock the key tool max, it requires pin code.
