Here is a quick guide on how to get start Autel MaxiAP AP200H Bluetooth scanner for the first time.

Step1. Download & install the MaxiAP200 app.

Search for MaxiAP200 in-app store(IOS) or Google play(Android) to download & install on your smart device. Or you can scan the QR code as below to download directly


Step2. Register & log in

1) Start MaxiAP200 app after installation, press “Register” button on the top right side.
2) Follow the prompts to create a new account.
3) Log in with your registered email and password.

Step3. Bind VCI

Scan the QR code printed on the interface of Autel AP200H to retrieve its serial number. Please make sure your email information is correct. Press “Bind” to pair dongle with VCI.

Step4. Purchase & install software

Press “Mall” below the list to start your purchase to install software. Full OBD2 functions are included without charge. ABS and SRS system are one year free after first time to successfully pair the dongle. (For IOS device, the purchased software is in the list.)

After finishing software download, go back to main page and press “Service”, continue to download the vehicle manufacturer you need.

Step5. Insert Autel AP200H to OBD2 port of your vehicle, it is generally under the dashboard.

Step6. Turn the ignition to key on, but ignition off, Autel AP200H light will be on constantly green after connecting.


Step7. VCI connection

For IOS device: Setting >> Bluetooth

For Android devices: Me >> VCI Connection, or press the VCI button on top right of home page.

Press the Bluetooth name(starts with AP, followed by a serial number) on screen to pair it with Autel AP200H.

*Make sure your device’s Bluetooth is turned on.

*When the Autel AP200H is successfully paired, the light will be on constantly blue.

Now your Autel AP200H OBD2 Scanner is ready for use.
