This tool does it all. I mean from bi-directional controls which i must say helped me tremendous when i had to open and manually close my vent valve in my evap system to use a smoke machine to find out where a large evap leak detected code came up. I was easly able to find it using another launch tool called a Endoscope, which s also compatible with this scan tool.

I like this x431pro3s that it has a big touchscreen. It has a lot of features that will take me some time to get use to it. But so far it is easy to use. I haven't used their tech support yet, so I can't say for sure how they are with that.

After powering it up, it went through some updates and was ready to go. I was able to read every system in my 04 Volvo, and used this tool to run a manual EVAP test. After that, I went into the DDM module and was able to preform a Window position relearn.
If you work on Volvos, you know that finding scan tools that play well with them is hard. This one does it all!

Hello, Launch X431 PRO3S+ can be used in places without WiFi?

I bought the Launch X431 Pro3S+ which is the latest and greatest of the X431's to replace an old OTC scan tool that served its purpose at the time
Now about the Launch X431 Pro3S+, I've just barely scratched the surface using this tool but so far this tool has really impressed me. I've used it on a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat, 2004 Lexus LS 430, 2008 Mazda RX8, 2016 Toyota Corolla, and a 2019 Honda Odyssey. I used Intelligent Diagnoses and it automatically picked up all the vehicles except the Lexus. On the Lexus, I used Local Diagnoses and I was able to do everything Lexus Techsteam software did. I mean everything which was amazing. All bi-directional tasks!
The tablet is really nice!

I want to let everyone know that the scanner is holding up well. This x431 pro3s+ scanner is perfect for diy and also a shop. I am very happy with it. What makes this company a big success is its customer service. I cannot say this to ANY of the scanners I’ve purchased in the past, including the branded scanners that costs 3x or 5x more. We all look for the AFTER- PURCHASE support and this company never fails. If you are on the fence and concerned about the functionality and price, here is my honest opinion. It’s worth every penny! Ok so I received this unit. I have to say the unit itself from the beginning was awesome. Easy to boot up easy to set up and easy to input all your information. I love that it's ran off of an android system. I've used it so far to program key fobs on a 2003 jeep liberty. Used it on a 2003 subaru outback to figure out a misfire. And used it on a 2005 chevy diesel to find the glow plug relay was bad. Found them all because of the awesome bidirectional features. It makes it so much easier.
