About APPRO2 for G Series mileage correction,Some instrument clusters do not require a filter, while others do.
Generally, for BMW G-series vehicles, there are three types of instrument clusters that currently support ODBD mileage adjustment.
At this stage, only the OBD method supports “unsynchronized mode.” This means you can directly adjust the mileage of the cluster via OBD (no filter or emulator needed), but the BDC2 mileage will remain unchanged.

Culsters like these following 3 pictures support OBD adjustment.
These 2 following pictures require a filter or chip replacement to modify mileage.
If you want “synchronized mode” (i.e. same mileage in both the instrument cluster and BDC2), then the mileage cannot be adjusted via OBD (this may be supported in future updates).
In this case:
The cluster must be removed.
For most fully digital ID6 clusters, mileage can be directly modified internally.
BDC2 must be removed and reset to zero.
After that, both the cluster and BDC2 will be fully synchronized.
You need to decide whether you want synchronized or unsynchronized mode.Then we can check whether your cluster supports OBD, and whether it's the type that requires additional components like filters or emulators.
BDC2 modules can all currently be cleared to 0 km using function 0050.
For clusters:
If you want the cluster and BDC2 to show the same mileage (synchronized), the cluster must be removed.
Fully digital clusters (e.g. ID6) can often be modified directly without filters or emulators.
Analog or semi-digital clusters (like the two types we support via OBD) usually cannot be modified internally, and may require an emulator.
If you can accept different mileages between the cluster and BDC2 (unsynchronized mode), and your cluster is one of the three supported types, then you can adjust the mileage via OBD directly, without removing BDC2 or installing any filter/emulator.
In unsynchronized mode, three specific cluster types (shown the following picture) can be modified directly via OBD.
You can also identify the cluster type by checking the design near the trim area (see the 2 following pictures):
Longer trim design usually means it's an analog cluster, which supports OBD.
Higher trim profile usually means it's a fully digital cluster (Image 8), which is not currently supported via OBD.
If you do not understanding, doesn't matter, you can take a picture for your instrument , engineer will help judge out if support OBD direct
