STEP 1

Connect Xhorse tools, 1407 dashboard and PC

Run Multi- Prog software

Select Device>> 1407>> MQB48-LOCK (R7F701407)-> READ (VW-> MQB) >> Detail



Check the connection diagram



Use a tweezer and heat gun to remove the 8 capacitors according to the diagram



Scrape the PCB mask before soldering the GND wire to the soldering point

Solder the wires of Xhorse MQB RH850/V850 Cable to the corresponding position on 1407 dashboard PCB

Secure the wires with acetate tape



Connect MQB RH850/V850 Adapter to Multi-Prog Programmer

Connect Multi-Prog and VVDI2 Programmer to the PC by USB cables separately

Don’t forget to connect the 12V power supply to Multi Prog as well



STEP 2

Read chip data by Xhorse Multi Prog

After connection, select “Crack Reading” to decode the chip and read the chip data.

You can check the read process in the bottom left corner. Wait patiently for a few minutes.

After the chip is reading successfully, click on “Save file” to save it.



STEP 3

Read IMMO data, make dealer key and add key by Xhorse VVDI2

Run VVDI2 software and select “VW

Select Key Learn>> MQB platform instrument immobilizer>> Instrument with locked NEC35xx (MQB48, VDO/JCI)



Select “Decode immodata

Click on “Yes” to load the encrypt data read by Xhorse Multi-Prog

Open the file



Decoding is successful, press “OK” to save the IMMO data file

Finally, use the IMMO data to make dealer key and add key.
