Install the surgical knife:
1. Align the square hole of the blade with the protruding slot at the front end of the handle.
2. Push the blade backwards to ensure that it is completely in contact with the handle and does not loosen.

Learn how to disassemble a BMW BCP key inner shell using the Yanhua Btool BCP Key Cutting Kit. Step-by-step guide with images and video tutorial for locksmiths.
This guide explains how to safely disassemble the BMW BCP key inner shell using the Yanhua Btool BCP Key Cutting Kit.By following the correct cutting positions and angles, the key shell can be opened without damaging the internal PCB board.
This procedure is recommended for locksmiths and technicians who need to access the internal components of BMW BCP keys.
Step 1. Install the Key in the Fixture
1. Open the key clip.2. Align the LOGO button of the key with the inner column of the key clip.
3. Place the key firmly into the clip.
4. Align the limiting hole with the limiting pin.
5. Close the clip and secure the key tightly.
6. Push the key clip into the key clip base plate.
7. Tighten the nut to fix the key in place.
At this stage, the cutting tool will be positioned at the ultrasonic welding area of the key side frame.
Step 2. Cut the Back Side of the Key Shell
1. Start cutting from the far right side of the key shell.2. Align the left edge of the blade with the right edge of the slot.
3. Insert the blade into the gap.
4. Gently strike the blade with a hammer.
5. Stop when the blade reaches the locking notch.
Next:
6. Place the blade into the blade clamp.
7. Tilt the blade at approximately 20° and align it with the weld seam.
8. Strike the upper-right part of the blade to cut along the weld seam.
When the cut reaches the fixture groove, switch to a scalpel to continue.
Scalpel operation:
- Keep the blade facing right.
- Insert the tip vertically into the groove.
- Move the scalpel horizontally so the back of the blade presses against the left bevel.
- Tap the scalpel gently with the hammer until the blade reaches the bottom of the shell.
Step 3. Cut the Front Section of the Shell
Move to the front side of the key shell.Pay attention to the warning labels on the shell:
Three grooves marked: “Don't Cut.”
One groove marked: “Pry Tool.”
Operation steps:
1. Cut the three designated cutting areas first.
2. Tilt the blade at 20° and insert it into the gap.
3. Strike the blade gently to cut the weld seam.
4. When reaching Area 3, remove the blade.
5. Reinsert the blade at an angle aligned with the weld seam.
6. Continue striking the blade to complete the cut.
Step 4. Remove the Key Inner Shell
After completing the cutting steps, the shell can be separated.1. Remove the off-pin blade.
2. Insert it into the clip on the front cover.
3. Insert the pry tool into the groove on the back of the key.
4. Apply force toward the side cover to pry it open.
When using the pry knife:
Insert it into the welding seam.
Apply force left and right alternately.
Gradually tear open the welding seam.
Repeat the same method on the front side until the shell is fully separated.
Finally:
Remove the internal PCB board.
Confirm that the PCB board remains undamaged.
The BMW BCP key inner shell disassembly process is now complete.
